Gilbert Ng is one of Asia’s few truly crypto-native lawyers, having focused exclusively on the digital asset industry since 2017. He previously served in senior legal roles at two of Asia’s leading crypto exchange and blockchain groups, OKX and HTX, giving him firsthand experience in the regulatory, transactional, and operational challenges that define the industry.

 

Beyond legal practice, Gilbert is also a venture capitalist and co-founder of a venture capital firm focused on early-stage crypto projects. His combined legal and investment background allows him to advise clients with a rare blend of regulatory insight, commercial judgment, and industry perspective.

 

Gilbert also serves as Head of Legal & Compliance at Mulana Investment Management, an asset management firm regulated by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. In addition, he is a director of the Association of Blockchain Compliance Professionals, which supports training and development for compliance professionals, government bodies, and financial institutions.
